So I noticed ever since /fps60 has become mandatory for all users it seems that the resolution of the chat box's text has been changed to less anti-aliasing or lower res. Take a look (cropped from random print screens I've taken)

The new chat's lower resolution text:

You can see that in the 2nd image that the text is more smooth, while it's more rough in the 1st one. Also, don't know if it matters but I'm using a font called "Segeo Print" but I've even tried using the default and it still looks kind of gritty.

That's not the problem, I have the same issue with clear type turned on.

I checked the link and tried enabling ClearType but it was already enabled and I even went through the process again, no change. Also, I zoomed in really close on the print screens I took and it turns out the new chat box uses text completely grayscale while the old one (which I perceived as higher-resolution) had "sub-pixel rendering" (learned that term from the link :P )
