Situation
Many maps have broken in the last few days because of a change in the game which broke a popular map making mechanism glitch known as Invalid Friction (999e999 Friction).

The Problem
Mice are sent to 0,0 (top left corner) on a map when they come in contact with a ground (usually a button) that disappears after touching an Invalid Friction ground.

Example XML Code:
a dit :
<C><P /><Z><S><S P="1,10,0.3,0.2,0,1,100,0" L="30" o="2ff02" H="50" c="1" Y="247" T="12" X="431" /><S P="0,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" L="400" o="324650" X="409" c="3" Y="250" T="12" H="10" /><S P="1,-1,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" L="10" o="324650" X="752" Y="228" T="12" H="10" /><S P="1,0,999e999,0.2,0,0,100,0" L="30" o="8f2840" H="16" c="2" Y="291" T="12" X="431" /><S L="33" X="496" H="122" Y="183" T="1" P="1,9999,0,0.2,0,1,100,0" /></S><D><DC Y="231" X="348" /><F Y="241" X="588" /><T Y="245" X="283" /></D><O /><L><JP M1="2" AXIS="0,1" M2="0" /><JP M1="0" M2="4" /></L></Z></C>

How glitch normally works:
When ground #1 with Invalid Friction(999e999 friction) touches ground #2, both grounds disappear AND all grounds linked through joints (<JR <JP <JD <JPL) also disappear.

Solutions
1) We need a ground or a new property (Similar to v="" despawns grounds) but that makes grounds disappear when touched by mice or grounds AND the ground will destroy all linked grounds that use these joints: <JR <JP <JD <JPL.

2) Fix the glitch so that mice can push a ground into another ground with 999e999 friction without getting sent to the top left corner.

Significance
This glitch is an important tool in creating mechanism maps and is vital to good button maps.
It is different from v="" (timed despawn) as it is TRIGGERED by mice to despawn all linked grounds. Also, v="" does not delete all linked grounds from <JR <JP <JD <JPL.

Also the companion crate's right side has tons of friction, making it climbable.

I'm not sure if it's related to the friction issues though.

Laddee a dit :

You probably saw a companion crate laying on its side, because that's completely backward. The top & bottom of the companion crate have high friction, acting like a chocolate ground, and the left & right sides have no friction, acting like ice walls. But I thought that was intentional.

No. It wasn't flipped. Probably intentional.

Though, the companion crate has nothing to do with invalid friction.
