The shaman most likely spawned dead, and therefore the timer shortened to :20. You probably just didn't notice it until it was too late.

This happens randomly, and yes haruhitastic is right the shaman most likely spawned dead, I don't know why this happened, and you know how the time shortens when a shaman and one mouse is in a map? that must have happened but time got shortened more less. So this might be the issue. Tig or someone can see this as well.
