If there's no new item available when you receive a gift, you will earn the item you earned before

you MAY earn a new item or you may get your old one.

Basically, getting items is luck-based as with the Halloween Event. You may "get" items you already have, and maybe not.

I don't think that's correct, you get items at a certain amount of recieved gifts.

The only luck-based thing would be the ttile <<Papaialle Noel>>, from gifting Papaialle.

I think you can only get that title by giving him exactly 50 gifts, not sure but I'll try it...
