With the new toy factory map introduced for christmas. This is the first module to be part of an event. And as exciting as it is there is something more interesting to it. The fact that it is possible to have modules/minigames play in public.

How will these things effect the game? Personally I am quite excited about it. Thewav and Fierying did quite a nice job on their event map. But what does the future have to offer? This is only the beginning.

Also if you want to have a module or a sort of minigame run in public every now and then (uncommon, so it plays really rarely) what would it be?

To be honest, if it played not too frequently I would love this to be added. Although it would need a bit of re-doing. Since there are a lot of things currently possible with modules that deathmatch doesn't take advantage of. But indeed it would probably nice, who knows if this will ever happen.

Ew, i'm not pleased about this update..i'm playing in normal rooms to gather cheese and not to play modules, if i want to play modules i'd go in the module room...

Well actually personally i hope they might allow simple modules. Ones that change the goal of the map a slight bit or add additional gameplay. For example there are modules around where you need to collect 2 things before you can enter the hole. Or you could look at modules like playground which are basically normal maps with automated things happening/spawning. These I would love in rotation. The smaller modules could add a lot to the rotation, but as they are small they couldn't be a minigame themself (Look at some of the minigames that used to be in bafflua, where you need to evade/dance/etc) Also if modules run, that doesn't mean you don't get cheese. So you will continue to gather.

This is probably the thing I want most. Like we currently have perm categories that make map styles. Like dual shaman. But if you have a simple script running on a map, it could add so much gameplay and fun.

Well i guess that'd be fine then, if the cheese you get actually counts. but something like flying around without any purpose and stuff should be avoided in normal rooms imo.

I 100% agree on that, that would be rediculous. Although for events and all that if there is something with space maybe. But just casually, heck no flying that would be bad.

That would be a tad bit too hard I suppose. And it won't really add any new gameplay value to public rooms.
