It would be much more easier to tell which was which.
It would also teach people what the hairs are:

Example: Person: Hey! Where did you get that hair?!
Me: This? Oh, its in head iteams, its rainbow dash's hair from mlp <3
Person:... who's rainbow dash? and wtf is mlp?
Me: ..... Errr...
