I don't wanna be rude in this trhread, but I just have a question. And I think it's ok to put it in Discussions, right?
But when an admin comes in a room, some people ask her/him something and it just doesnt answer. Its not afk coz its earning cheese.
Are admins allowed to talk in-game?

When I was on room 1, Sydoline was there. People asked Hi Sydo how r u etc. and she kept earning cheese, like they were invisible 0.0
I'm just curious, not rude. I think admins arent allowed to talk when they earn cheese

I think it's to calm down the fans in the room they are playing in.
Mabye if they type just 1 'hello' the room will go crazy.

It depends on the reasons why they are on this game.

We are here because we like to play transformice. When they are online they are there for developement/business reasons. We can probably all agree on that if you are here to have fun that you are more talkative than when you are only here for serious things.

Then secondly they are more known than any other player. I suspect the moment they go online there might be 1 out of 20.000-30.000 players might whisper them. Thus they are probably spammed. Even if they thus would reply to lets say 50% of their whispers. Most the people would still think they aren't talking at all. And this will result to the public thinking they barely reply.

Secondly, if you want to talk about things with the admins, and they are here for company reasons you are probably only getting a reply if its somethign business related. So if you just ask for being friend or everything Erika pointed out above, you are quite unlikely to get a reply.

I can only imagine admins look at all of the things mods do - and more...
With all this going on, in a small chat window, some things need to be prioritised. For an admin, whispers about account problems - which I'm sure there are thousands of - will take precedent over reports, which will take precedent over what is going on in the room chat.

All of this, plus they have to deal with whispers like "make me a mod"

and look at the chat and what they have to deal with whenever they are in a room

Administers, like normal players, are allowed to talk whenever they feel like it, and from the comments above, Administers (and mods) have alot of admin stuff to pay attention to.

But i might want to point out "famous" for this matter. Administers and Moderators became such big stars that everyone would just go wild meeting one. Is like a heavenly dream.
Sadly... Majority (not all) wants to just show off to their friends how lucky they are etc, like some egoistic brad. And as you realise, famousity is not something you want to show off. Fame isnt their main goal.

In fact the more you forcefully want them to talk or friend you and all, the more they would avoid you. (Unless if you are asking a good question in whisper prehaps).
