I assume she/he wants to be able to edit the title in her/his own threads.

Example:
This thread is currently named "Having the ability to edit your thread title."
If she/he'd be allowed to edit it, she/he could name it something way different, or just do a little edit - such as removing the period at the end.

You could just report your thread and ask a sent to rename it.
So um

I think we might be able to on the new HTML forums, but I like this idea, helps Sents deal with reports instead of having to change the titles for some threads.

This is true, but it takes a while for sentinels to edit it; it'd be easier to rename it yourself.

^Exactly Gullan. Sometimes people make typos in their thread titles and what not. It's not uncommon... so why not have the ability to be able to edit it? This would be great for when people make a tribe thread and forget to add the "[tribe]" tag in their title or anything else of the sort. Why would you want to report your own post and have to wait on a mod just to correct a simple error that you could of easily corrected yourself within half the time. It saves them trouble and you time so it should be a win/win.
