Now that the level/skill system has been around for a while, people are beginning to make connections between someone's ability and their shaman level. I personally don't think it has been long enough for these assumptions to be made; I have seen level 100s fail painfully simple maps, and level 1s (who most likely refuse to use the system entirely) build amazing things.

What do you guys think about this?

I don't judge people by their levels. I only judge them by their profile.

I don't judge anyone by their level or profile; you never know their skill based on those things.

I never judge people by their level or profile.
Who knows? They could've farmed or had firsts generously given to them, and they were prolly Shaman on an easy map.
And skills, they maybe don't like the Skills update, so they don't use them.
I judge 'em by skill, because someone may not have 1,000 cheese, but may be insanely pro.

holy shit what;
you never judge skill by shaman's level.
they could ltierally just earned those from earning cheese/bridge totems which is no skill at all.
edit: literally*
huge typo right there, im a person okay, sentinels make typos too
Whiskypickle a dit :
Just like you're other thread, In the future please only ask questions about the game in the Questions and Answers thread.

^ lol.

Anyway, I think a person's profile usually is a good indicator of their skill, but of course it can never truly be accurate. I'd say that shaman type would be a good indicator of what they are going to bring to the table when they shaman–one can hardly expect a level 5 Wind Master to revive everyone.

Then again, I'm a Wind-Mech sham who does not have easy victory. And everyone KEEPS asking me to revive them since they can't see that I haven't gotten to Spiritual........

i never judge by skill
i just judge on how fast they can give me cheese and get me safe to the hole
or if they even manage to do that..

bridge totems, eh
i don't like them and i think it drives the skill out of other shamans like those clouds
but they can do whatever they wish with em as long as t gives me cheese

Meh, i'm level 60 and i'm way better of a lot of level 100 ç_ç
Level is not connected with skill, just with the time spent playing (like all MMO)

I think the shaman level doesn't say much about someone's skill, especially since you can level up just by collecting cheese (at least until around level 30); you don't have to save lots of mice to get a decent level. And as said before, shamans who use bridge totems can level up quickly without really doing much. (It's always fun to see them fail on maps where they can't effectively use their auto-solve totem :P)

Well I'm level 93 and have 90,000 saves. Think my level accurately reflects my abilities.

Levels don't matter.
I've seen level 1s wipe entire rooms in survivor.
Get every single save of 30 ppl.
Some may have played on another account.
I feel like i should prob be a lower level
