The first bootcamp doesn't count, the ones after will tho.

That's not true..

Are you sure nobody had more than one account logged in at that room?

If you just joined a bootcamp room, you need to complete the map twice in order for bootcamps to start counting.
i.e. the second completion will go towards your bootcamp total and so will every other completion after that. This is set in place to deter bootcamp farmers.
If you're still having problems, like Bee said above, ensure that there are 5 unique IP's in the room. Even if there are 10 mice in the room, if 7 of the mice have the same IP, bootcamps won't count.
