Report System Experiences

What do you think of the report system? Have you noticed that your reports were dealt with quickly or have you not had much luck at all? Do you miss the old days where mods needed to be whipered or do you prefer things this way?

Once or twice my reports have been heard quickly

Mods come quickly USUALLY though, and I wish we could whisper them, but in respect they get a hella lot of spam!

Only once out of all the other millions of times

I've found that it's quicker just to whisper them, I usually use report too even when I whisper (for the karmalel)

Yeah, I find whispering them to be the fastest method. For the most part people don't tend to ever report even if you tell them to, so I can never actually get two reports.

Being completely honest, my report rarely gets dealt with. This is probably due to others not even bothering to report a guy for spam/hacking etc. . However, you also have to keep in mind that there are an immense amount of reports that moderators do have to deal with and they might not get around to yours until after you have logged out.

My hack reports usually get dealt with quickly; though insult/spam reports take longer in my experience.

You've also got to keep in mind it requires mods to be online and actively checking the report system.

hack reports work well when i'm in bootcamp, they're usually dealt with within 5 minutes..
but spam and inappropriate is a whole nother story. :\\

There's no log of any sorts that would let's say collect the past 2 mins or so happenings in the chat and include that in the report as well. It seems pretty pointless without that, because mods have to witness everything.

I prefer and will always prefer face to face contact, and because I'm always so nice and calm when speaking with mods, a lot of them are ok with me taking reports to them face to face instead of report system.

yeah i usually go on the irc but most of the time mods are afk on there.
and yeah, i guess.
