Seems to be not working for me
need to click the name to get out of it

Just open a tribe chat tab (/tc) and when you don't want a whisper, and it's not in another tab, just press "Tab" to switch to tribe chat. "Tab" again for normal chat.

Also...there is kind of whisper update with hotkeys, and few bugs. If you have a friend withname beginning with "Y" when you press "Y" you're supposed to open a whisper to him. Buggy.

Just tried it. It works fine. Do you still have the same problem?

I can comfirm it wasn't working last night but it seems fine now. Rutabega, does it work for you now?

Well his post as of 7:05 AM says no. Are you on standalone? That might be the difference.
