What are your thoughts on people asking for this to happen?

My own view is it is a bad idea. As much as it would be nice ot gift cheese and fraises to friends, there is many bad things to it.
I play a MMO - World of warcraft, you get these bots and hackers farming gold to sell to other players. The reason the gift option would be bad is you would get people exploiting the gifting and charge people for cheese, (even if there are some genuine people ofcourse) which also results in people trying to hack high cheese earner accounts etc so they can hack the cheese off them.

Um, basically what you said.
Scammers going on accounts and sending stuff to them and um.. yeah.
But I don't know why people are still asking for this, admins have denied this suggestion multiple times.

I guess they just hope for free cheese? XD

I think it would be a horrible idea, mice with more friends would get more cheese. This would be unfair also considering someone got on my account and deleted all mine.
