Transformice has seen many events. The one thing they all seem to have in common, is that they are all held in Standard or Vanilla rooms.

I would like to suggest expanding the game play a bit. Having types of event challenges for each type a room. So one event, would have a different challenge for Standard rooms, Racing, Defilante, and Survivor. This would both give players who are common to these alternate rooms opertunity to participate in the event more, as well as encourage players to try new room types to reach those alternate event maps.
