We are unhappy with the new version from 12 september, 2013.
They took speed ice, long jump and old chocolate friction from 2010-2012.
This thread will only talk about the chocolate friction.

Why are we unhappy?

Because the new friction is now too simple, there is no competence, it's just pressing WA and WD keys to walljump, now racing has a ton of players who've been playing just for 1 or 2 months and are already capable to walljump chocolate like old players.

We, racing players, have noticed that anyone with a ping of 100, or a hack, have an advantage of walljumping chocolate way faster by just pressing WA and WD keys.

Because formerly to learn how to walljump chocolate, we had to use 3 keys (WDA) and have 1 or 2 years of experience in being quick to walljump chocolate with WDA, and racing is about being the best and have more practice, not having a good ping or the chocolate being so easy to walljump for every mouse.

What have we done?

We've made mini polls to players (These polls are not official), but we did them to have a support for this thread.

Players just answer this:

This game is shit, it was good in 2010-2012, I'll stop playing this, how are they going to take away the things we learned and love?

Have you noticed that many players have stopped playing for this?

Also because on september 2013 administrators didn't ask us if we wanted to have this update, they should've made a poll about it and not make changes without the support of players.

When the administrators made this change, they only got insults on their CFM because we didn't like this new version, because we just wanted old TFM back.

Even new players from 2013-2014 support this cause, they want old TFM back too.
They just say "I've been playing for a little time and this is already easy, I want to know how old Transformice was and play with experienced players.

Even a lot of mods and mapcrew team members say they don't like this new version, so:

Mr Tigrounette, miss Sydoline and others administrators, you have to listen to us and realize that everything has changed since that 2013 update, you're losing a lot of people because of it.

In 2012 it was a perfect year due to fraises update, people online daily were 50-70k, even 80k was the record.




Now that everything changed the maximum is 30k mice.
Let's all support this cause, we want old TFM back.

shamousey: To be honest I don't see too much of a difference except from the FPS update. I don't really support this, it's how it is now and if it's better for new players then good - there's still a million other ways to get an advantage in a race.
