It says in the map editor that exporting a map costs 1000 cheese, while it says it cost 40.

They meant 1000 total gathered cheese to actually be able to make maps, and it takes 40 shop cheese to export a map.

i have more than 1000 total gathered cheese but it still doesnt let me; it let me before, but for some reason it wont let me now.

Is there perhaps an error in the XML? Did you try to edit the XML before trying to export?

Im pretty sure i didnt do that

Did you gather 1000 cheese? Do you have 40 cheese in shop? A tribe house or a map?
