I thought it would be cute if there was a Mother's day event on TFM. It would start on Mother's day and end about a week after, so that there would be plenty of time to get titles and stuff.
The would be a big feild of flowers and trees that bloom in may, like forget-me-nots, tulips, lilacs, mongolia trees and so on, so forth. (maybe a pond for water lilies and other aquatic plants) There would be hidden flowers scattered throughout the level, and the mice would try to find them. Maybe 5 or so flowers each level, but some in difficult places to reach. There could be two or two and a half minutes per level.
Every 5 or 10 flowers you get you would get a title, and you get a badge after you get 50 flowers. Right now some title ideas for this are:

<<Mama's favourite>>
<<Expert gardener>>
<<Flowertastic>>
<<Honorary mother>>

Right now this is just an idea, i'll try to get photos and other ideas in. If you have any title or item or whatever ideas, leave them in a reply and i'll take a look.

I have a fur item for the event right here. I used forget-me-nots, lilacs, tulips and morning glories as inspiration.

I really like this idea, could I make a fathers day event thread too?

If you look at the dates for Mother's Day around the world, you can see that they are no where close to each other.
Some are even in December. SO I'm not quite sure how this would work

Well, a lot of them (including ones that have servers on TFM) are in the general vicinity of May. It's not like the world celebrates children's day on the exact same date either. Heck, there are countries that don't celebrate christmas, easter or halloween at all, but those holidays are still celebrated on TFM.
