If the shaman hasn't moved at all for 15-20 seconds, a message on chat will appear which can allow players to "boop" the shaman.

When the shaman gets booped his/her TFM will make a ring sound just like whenever a new round starts.

or

If the shaman hasn't move at all for 15-20 seconds TFM will automatically make the ring sound twice during the 5 seconds.

I didn't understand this that much and I don't really think that this would be useful. This would be useless especially if the shaman doesn't have the bell sound enabled. If the shaman didn't hear it the first time what's to say that they'll hear it a second time, and if they're afk they're afk.

that option is for the beginnings of rounds not during

people dont know they got in trouble the first time, that was their warning
the second time they knew
Some people might assume the first bell is their imagination until they hear it a second time (double checking)
They might be turned around from the computer doing something else and didnt realise it was their turn

Still not a very good idea, sort of useless. If a person is turned around and doesn't know it's their turn and they hear it a second time, for all they know it's another round. If someone misses their turn as sham an oh well.

Hey, for all they know it was a spawn death or a free cheese map. And if they're turned around doing something they're obviously not paying attention to Transformice, and I know many people that don't have headphones or speakers.

If they're turned around then I assume they can still hear a little ring, speakers aren't that quiet
Spawn death and free cheese maps don't happen frequently anyways

E: ring at start of the round, 15-20 seconds later are two rings... that's 3 rounds

Under most circumstances when a shaman isn't moving they're AFK (Away From the Keyboard) which is basically in "AFK". They're not on the PC at the moment.

Yes, what about it, they may be AFK but they're not halfway across the world.

I own a headset, many others do, and the most popular thing is headphones. No one's gonna hear anything if they're AFK, and some people are probably tabbed out and are too busy for TFM, I am on most occassions.

I went to 3 rooms and almost half of the people said yes to headphones/earbuds and no one responded when I said speakers.

Dat effort.
So 1/2 the world doesn't use headphones/earbuds
or their IP simply prevented them from chatting.

v lol around 20 people in a room means 50% chance of same b days. [irrelivant]
Thank you for clearing dat

Three rooms does not mean half of the world loooool.

It's a good idea in theory, just needs to be smoothed out.

As long as there's a disable function (/ or is included within the enable/disable sounds) then I support. This is really a 'no harm, no foul'. I could see where many players would appreciate knowing its their sham turn, for example if they're foruming or on another tab.

/support.

I think it would be more useful if the ring sound you get when you're 'booped' or when you're the shaman was different than the one at the usual start of the round. It'd make things easier to understand.

The idea would be great for when you're on another tab or something.
