This suggestion was inspired by a dream I had yesterday. I haven't played for almost 1 year. In my dream, I suggested for a little classic server, and Tigrounette said "yes, is a good idea, I like the classic style :)" and when i went to the old version, all my old friends were there, and I started to cry (in the dream!).

In real life:

Almost all my friends, and a lot of people want to be able to play the old versions of the game, i don't believe this suggestion is going to be accepted or even read by the devs, but I needed to suggest it to die in peace.

I'm playing since 2010, and a lot of things have changed, most of them for good, but the most significant change was making the game more with a "childish" style, I think a classic server would have a lot of players, and a lot of old players would rejoin (including me and the people that makes pirate servers with old versions).

Right now we have room32's server but that version is too old, no one plays it, I think the best version for the old players would be just after the map editor was added. Is it possible?

In numbers:

Making old players to rejoin would be good, +players = good.
If it doesn't work, you can just delete it. Simple as that!


A little tiny server would make me and the old school players very very very happy.
(the server could be linked in a little space in the right side of the screen, with a tiny link saying "classic transformice")

I actually like this idea! It'll probably never be considered by the mods but still, it would be lovely to play the old-fashioned tfm again :D

also fyi servers are not free, and 801 is currently a bit on the low side of funds.
They won't do something as this if this does not boost their profit

*sigh* That was a very touching dream you had there. Its hard to believe that was real in Transformice back in 2010.
Transformice of today is pretty much considered a different game.
I beat that touching dream made the veterans of Transformice *the guys that joined back in 2010-2011.* cry.
Unfortunately, "i like classic style :)" is not a thing over at the atelier 801 station. So there is a high chance this server wont happen. You could even say its a FACT this wouldnt be in the game.
But, even then, if this might possibly might happen in the future....

The game in 2010 was not really that great through. It was very barebones

If you meant by tig making a module and all the old maps could be added just like having a vanilla module and regular one then /support
I myself played the retro module and saw many great old maps and wish i could enjoy them in a room with people where i could gather cheese.

i loved the old game, things were so much more satisfying when we had to work hard for them. i dont like that people can spam balls for first, or to ruin builds. i dont like that shamans can complete entire maps with little to no effort using a handful of overpowered skills (or just skills in general since they're unbalanced as hell), and i dont like how the many different gamemodes divide the community like crazy. that being said, im from 2010 too, and even though i like this idea, it will never come to fruitation. players like us simply don't number enough to warrant our own server to circlejerk about how bad the game has become. over in runescape jagex made a poll to see how many people would be interested in a nostalgic server and that is what gave birth to old school runescape. if this were ever to even be considered a poll would be the first step
