It takes about a day for it to form after you changed it I think. i changed mine and it took a day to show up on friends screens.

Pretty sure they're talking about the fact they don't even have one at all.
For the record, it's instant if you clear your cache.

I've noticed my icon sometimes doesn't show up either too btw.
