Hey, I have a problem that seems to be unique to me. Whenever I use the architect skill to change the transparency of an object, my game seems to disconnect or something, it doesn't actually say I was disconnected from the server though. No one moves correctly, no updates happen for other people that I do or for me, I can still run around on the map but at that point I am not connected anymore it seems. I don't actually disconnect until I refresh the tab though. This also happens with the standalone client and I can't send chat messages or move for anyone else until I reopen it.

Any help would be appreciated, as I would like to be able to use Architect but never can as it just disconnects me.

You are not the only one, have seen a few reports of this. Can you provide any more information, such as what objects you have tried using it on, for example?

Does it only crash when you use it on v anchored connected objects?

Sorry, login server seemed to be down and I couldn't log in to reply.
Anyways, I have tried using every object both transparent and non-transparent and it still happens.
I have also tried it on v and c anchors, but not b anchors. I am going to try on b anchors, and the spinning anchors, and see if that affects it at all.

I just also had an idea to try doing it on another computer, and the problem persists across computers. However, while doing so I did learn something new. When it happens, I can still type things in the tribe chat and other people can see what I send. Yet, I can't type anything in a room and people see what I say nor can I see messages and when the time left hits 0 it does not switch. (I had just learned about the tribe chat thing.)

If you need me to do anything to help just let me know and I can replicate it every time.

I previously posted some client debug information over in Topic-761870 (if that's even helpful at all)

I'd also be glad to help out with testing / debugging.
Did a little testing of my own to maybe help out with this and put it up in a spreadsheet: http://goo.gl/hTxJA9

Testing Procedure: Go to empty room, test item combination, run off edge to see if I die, if not, then I have glitched out and disconnected from the room. When testing anchored objects, I pinned two objects of the transparancy I was testing together.
If it makes any difference, these tests were performed on the standalone client of the 64-bit Windows 7 box mentioned in the debug information on the other thread.

If there's anything more I can do to assist in testing / troubleshooting this issue, I'd be glad to help out!

Just thought I would mention that we have this in common, but I have tried it on different OS's so it probably doesn't help much.

Just a heads up if you haven't already tried, as of today, Architect seems to be fixed!
It worked perfectly fine without kicking me from the room.
