when someone is banned, they can just make a new accont and continue wih whatver they were doing to get banned. unless you banned their ip address, so they couldnt access tfm anymore. and a question. does the /ban thing even work? cause there's this one person who just wont get banned, no matter how many times people ban him. and the same with in music, does /skip work? cause this one person keeps playing REALLY racist video, and its awhole HOUR long, and we have to sit through 5 minutes of it, SOOOOO many people type /skip, but t just wont skip! |

Buffydawn a dit : If someone gets banned, they can't log on with that IP until their ban is over. |

Buffydawn a dit : Bans are IP bans. But only if a mod does it, /ban kicks a person of the room for an hour(?) but doesn't ban them from Transformice. The reason people can come back is because they use proxy's, which aren't allowed. EDIT: Sorry VVV didn't know you could actually use them for TFM. My mistake |

I think this could use additional explanation. Like pointed out before, OP's confusing votebanning and banning by moderators. Votebanning occurs when sufficient people type /ban Username, and will move the username out of the room. They'll be unable to rejoin the room for an hour. Banning by moderators only happens when the user's caught doing something against the rules. These bans are always IP bans. However, some people have dynamic IP's and some people use proxies, making these less effective. However, unlike what Themousenn said, you're allowed to use these. You're just not allowed to evade your bans or mutes. |

As above, all moderator bans are IP bans, so this suggestion already exists ^^ Also seems like your questions have been answered. If you still have more, you can ask in the Questions & Answers thread here: Topic-1535 |
