Perhaps it isn't a bug? But sure looks weird to me.

What exactly is the bug you're describing? The colour choices are for each pentagon/hexagon in the football.

As you can see in the first picture, that is the default setting. One of the hexagons is black yet when you're playing, it is not.
In the second picture, I have made every colour section different, there are a few hexagons that change with others and some that do not. My biggest peeve is the orange section as they are both next to each other so becomes an annoyance when trying to make the whole football have different colour hexagons.
The first picture is a definite bug in my opinion as it changes from shop to game. The second one may be deliberate but I'm sure people would agree that it needs to be changed because it is a tad strange and uncomfortable for a customized item.

Exactly.. Does the awkward red section appear when actually playing? Because when it's on default, it somehow corrects itself when going back into the actual game. Either way it's a bug so would be appreciated fixed.

No it doesn't seem to be fixed yet :/

I think this has gone ignored but is still a major problem in my books. I sort of want to wear the item but don't feel right with the bug in place.
