The reason why locked threads aren't sent to the archives is so that people can still find them... putting them in their own subforum would defeat this purpose. E: sometimes locked threads are meant to be viewed by more than just the creator... An example would be like if the server was down and someone made a thread stating that they couldn't log in. A sent might lock it and explain that the server is down, and then other people could see it if they were having similar problems Dernière modification le 1403225580000 |

Its not a bad idea though, I hate all the locked threads spamming up subforums... I just don't know any good way to get rid of them :c |

Ttnubtt a dit : Suppose, instead of locking them up in another Subforum, there's an option for them to go *Poof*? |

As an ex-sentinel and as someone who is currently a mod on CFM, it's good that the locked threads are visible. Yes, they may litter a forum (when I was sentinel I would send them to archive after forty-eight hours), but they also show users what not to do. I think all that needs to be done is have set days when locked threads go to archives, and all will be good. |

No, poof is bad.
The forum has run this way since 2010. I don't see it changing. |
