For this, you'd have an option on their profiles (tribe tab) that says:
Challenge this player
Example:

After that, ANOTHER tab would pop up and it would look like this:

And if you clicked other....

And then you'd be teleported to a room that suits the theme for example:
In the chat it would say, Teleporting to: FFARace
and then you'd be teleported there!

However, maybe you can expand your suggestion a bit. Some ideas:

• Why not allow people to challenge anyone in the game, and not just tribe members?
• To actually make these challenges mean something, perhaps an entry on the profile could be added, something like "Dual victories: " plus a count of won challenges.

I'm sure you can think of some stuff too. Overall I like the idea.

I completely agree that this would offer nothing to the game since you can just ask people to join you for a match one-on-one.

I feel this'll be used for bragging too much and people will just farm these stats with alts.

I agree with what Shamousey said about the farming with alts part, I do like the idea though. But, instead of having just one person, it could have an option to challenge more than 1 person, then they would be on teams. So that way, they would have to lead their team to victory to get points. I probably didn't make any sense there whatsoever.... Oh well.

This idea is very very similar to the existing Mulodrome project.

Oh, right. Still, then it makes more sense to expand Mulodrome to accomodate different game modes than to start from scratch.
