hey everyone :) so..i was thinking TFM could let you deactivate accounts :D cuz i met lots of people who leave TFM, but the account stays. i think it would be great if it were like on the site dA (dviantArt) you can deactivate your account, but within 40 days you can get it back, but if 40 days pass, it willl be deleted for ever. what do you guys think? |

Nah, I don't see a point in that. Very few games I've seen have that option, save for virtual pet sites since pets can starve etc. |

What Haru said, and I feel that sometimes people would like to visit the game just for old times' sake. ^_^ |

I don't know.. I think what you mean is that there should be a button or something? You click it to deactivate your account, but within 40 days you can still get it back? I actually like this idea. /half support? |

I guess support? I mean it is, after all the person's decision if they would like to delete their account. But I don't really see the benefit of doing it, other than having the username choice free for other users. |

Like above, the only reason to have accounts deleted is to that their name becomes available again. Unfortunately for OP's example: for dA this isn't the case. Once an account has become deactivated, the name cannot be used again. Or at least that was the case when I deactivated mine. |

well, kind of half support. for one, I don't want people who quit tfm to have there accounts stay there, so then soon mice will probably have to start spamming there usernames someday. BUT, I don't like the idea because this could lead to impersonation. |
