Hello there, One of the hardest things to fight is the spam. In the spanish server is very usual to find something like: a dit : Following this first messages you will find 200 more during the day..It is really annoying. Now we have a spammer promotioning his Habbo pirate server and he creates hundreds of accounts to do it. All his accounts I believe get a ban but he just creates a new one.. It is really annoying... All this spam messages over and over again. Solution Auto-mute!! If you get a certain number of mutes, let's say 3.. in less than 10 minutes, you are probably doing something wrong..so the systems gives you a 1 hour MUTE. Results:
Thanks for reading! Dalavert |

Before the introduction of the community platform TFM used to have a similar system. Back then, however, /ignore only lasted for as long as you were logged in. If enough people would /ignore a player, the player's messages wouldn't show up in the room anymore, until they re-logged. Like so many commands and features, this was removed when the community platform came. This makes it unlikely that your suggestion will be implemented. It was a feature before and has since been removed. There are also some other problems to look out for: how will this be fair to the player that gets the auto-mute? People might just /ignore others simply because they dislike them or because they feel like it. Similar problems with vote-banning occur a lot in the TR community to name an example. On top of that, there was no notification of this happening in the old system. The only way to find out that your messages weren't going through anymore, was by seeing how no one responded to them. Having said that, the system can work very nicely for players when moderators aren't available. This happens a lot for chat offenses, since as a moderator you need to speak the language in order to be able to help. As such I think it should be looked into, but not without being extremely cautious not to create something that would be unfair to 'innocent' players. Dernière modification le 1404287820000 |

Thanks for the support @lIovli @Lemodile. The only point that worries me is the trolling thing (some agree to mute someone so they act in group muting) In my opinion the inconvenient is really smaller than the benefits. Really this could fix, spam, insults and fights. A way to avoid the issue could be throw karma... Only players with some karma counts... If someone report he has been muted without reason, a moderator can remove the karma... BUt this could be complicated.. Other way to avoid... the 3 votes should come from people who aren't friends and neither share the same tribe... This doesn't look that hard to implement. And if the innocent person feels he is getting bullyied this will teach people to leave toxic rooms.. ADDON I think the mute could be acumulative so the community can censore the toxic people of the game: 3 mutes = 1 hour muteban 3 hours muteban = 1 24h Ban 3 24h BAN = 1 Perman Ban. |

lets have a new rule, spamming chain messages now has the same punishment as hacking (360 hour ban) |

No support at all. The Hate-Mutes would be terrible. Someone plays a joke, you get muted for an hour. Nope. |

/half support. As araylia said above people could take advantage of this and get 3 people not from this persons tribe or friendlist to mute him. |

I know still the benefits seems bigger. They can prevent bullying bans (3 ppl not sharing tribe, or friendlist). Still you can report an abusive mute ban as you can actually do with the normal popular ban. Giving the power to the people, is not only power but responsability..Bellieve in the people. |

It doesn't have to be 3 but 5 for example... Spam in the spanish server it's just HORRIBLE. 70% of the messages are spam. Unbelieveble. |

Guys you are not looking at the solution. Just a quick answer. BUt there is a problem and need to be fixed. Other way to avoid trolling ignores would be: If 4 persons mute a person in less than 10 minutes, and that voters are from at least 2 different rooms. Then the person is muted. That would fix the trolling variable. Please try to identify the problem (i believe you dont have it in some countries). And let's find a fair solution, there is always one. thanks |

/No support. If you're mature enough, you can handle this "spam" in a game chat. Seriously, a perm ban just for spamming, great way of losing players. Anyone can just abuse the advantage by making tribe members do it, friends, etc. |

Spam is not about maturity. And i said a 1 hour mute, not 1 hour ban neither perma ban.... Please read the suggestion before voting. And please visit spanish server to see why this suggestion. Dernière modification le 1425584700000 |

It's just words in the chat, why not just ignore what people are saying, it's not like it's about you. Dalavert a dit : Spartttt a dit : I think it's really my decision to vote or not, and yes, I have looked at it. There's no point in arguing with me since it's my decision to not support . I really don't need to go to the the Spain server to look at it. If you can ignore them as I would, there won't be an argument with it. It's really not the person's fault to be tricked into the "free fraises and titles" spam, they are still "newbs" that don't know how the game fully works yet. Dernière modification le 1425600120000 |
