I'm okay with a mini-event, since not all people actually "celebrate" Ramadan, it's only a Muslim event.

It's because Christmas is predominantly more popular, and more people know of it. I mean, about 90% at least of people know about christmas.
Not sure many know about ramadhan, who aren't muslim.
I would suggest an exclusive room, but not a whole game wide event.
But items for certain religions e.t.c are fine with me.

That might be true in your country, but on a global scale it certainly isn't, 23% of the world's population are Muslim. Transformice has the Indonesian, Arabic and Turkish communities which all have a significant Muslim population, and many Algerian players on the FR community, so it would certainly make sense to have an event for it.

Ramadan itself may not be the right time to have the event, as it is a time for holiness, perhaps an Eid al-Fitr event would be good though. One thing the admins may be concerned about is causing offence, it is much easier for them to do events which celebrate things they are familiar with in an appropriate way than events celebrating something they are less familiar with.
