I'm so mad right now. I'm in the music room and music is playing according to others but I can't hear it. I tried going on YouTube, the music worked! I tried turning up my volume, still didn't work in the room. I'm thinking it is a bug but I don't know. I'm also using the app you can download ( reduces lag for me ). Would that effect it? Please help!

That's quite common, It's currently happening to me aswell.
Sometimes music will work on transformice, and sometimes it won't.
Don't worry, but if you need to listen to the music that they're listening to, just ask and play it on youtube!

Music room don't work on stand alone downloads only works on the tfm browser

As answered above, music rooms no longer work on standalone clients. Unfortunately, if you want to use this feature you must use an internet browser to connect to the game. Since this is not a bug, I will be locking this thread.
