The messages "____ just stole the cheese! CATCH HER!" and "____ is now your shaman, follow her!" should be changed. Why does it say her? It should say "CATCH THEM!" and "follow them!".

Well, somtimes it is just one mouse, so "them" wouldnt fit

Example: I subscribed to them on YouTube

Then what if the "Catch her!" and "Follow her!" would change determined on what gender you specified on your profile, I selected male and I want it to say "him".

"Them" is a gender-neutral catch all term. It would be fine.

I support changing to "them" (or him/her if set in profile)

I saw this suggestion before, and I think it only says her because it is french related. I'm not totally positive though.

I can see this working for EN, but other languages tend to now have the gender neutral term which would cause a problem when translating the game into different languages. You'd still have to use 'him' or 'her' elsewhere. I think basing it on the gender you choose in game would work better for all communities, not only for EN - if that is possible, of course.

It says her because i'm pretty sure the french word for mouse (souris) is femenine (e.g., La souris), so it would cause confusion in the french community

Actually a lot of my friends pick on me when it says "Catch HER!", so I'd rather that not. And it's just downright annoying for me and other guys. It wouldn't be hard to change either, just changing one word.

I brought this up just yesterday. Any time I see a shaman/cheese thief mouse and the mouse is set to be male and it says "her" I cringe a little.

yeah, especially since we have those genders on our profile they should make it say him/her depending on what gender you chose on your profile

Actually if you base it on profile gender you'd have to add variables and such. So not just "one word."
