You might or might not have heard of Transf0rmice in the past. It was a minigame I was developing based on the first-person puzzle-platforming game Portal, by Valve. Well, it's back! And better than ever!

Your goal as a shaman is to complete every map by spawning portals to save as many mice as you can. However you'll need to deal with puzzles, portal physics and all sort of things that will make you spend some time thinking of a solution to each map, and will take a lot of practice to complete.




Features


Portals
The shaman can spawn portals on cloud grounds.

Teleports

Stats
And profiles! Raw stats, ratios, some aditional stats and a list of your completed maps.

Map selection
Before you're Shaman you get the chance to choose between three random maps.

Whether you're a completionist and go for a 5-stars rating in every map or you just want to have fun with the portal physics, you'll surely find something fresh and different in #portal. You can join the fun in /room *#portal

Known bugs


Images don't seem to appear when you've just joined the room. If you look closely in the help screen you can actually see the images, they're behind the window itself. That's a bug with images and textareas, I can't fix it.

Any other bug with images not loading or displaying is also not my problem, most likely.

Frequently (or not) Asked Questions


Why can't I spawn portals?
You can only spawn portals inside cloud grounds. Also you can't set the aim outside your spawning range.
You can, however, spawn portals in diamond-shaped cloud grounds regardless of distance, by directly cliking on them.

Why are my stats not being saved?
There's a minimum amount of players that have to be in the room in order for stats to count, for all of the stats. Currently it's set at 10 players but it may change. Be sure to check out the changelog.

How do I get 5 stars in a map?
You have to get a score of 81 points or more. If you're having trouble look at your Shaman score screen at the end of the round to see where are you getting a low score and try improving that.

Can I make a map for the game?
Right now you can't. We'll be opening a Map Submissions thread so stay tuned.

But I can still make a map and whisper you the code, right?
No, you can't. There are lots of things you have to know first before jumping and making a map for this game. And I don't feel like explaining everything to you so wait for the submissions thread which will have a guide with instructions on making the maps.

Since it's not an official module, it's not always going to have its script loaded in the room. By official modules I mean minigames that are listed when you type /module, such as #deathmatch, #prophunt etc
