I agree with what people said above. Besides, what are they needed for anyway, we have friend lists, marriages and other stuff too. Also, there would be more spamming in the chats looking for relationships, and it seems a little drastic, and pretty much things like this have been denied and it sucks

I can really see this getting out of hand and... akward I guess you could but it. Tbh, all the updates transformice is starting to bother me. I like transformice the way it is and I liked the way transformice was 3 years ago >_> this is rather unessisary and will just flip the pages from friends to someone have 80 cousins on transformice and people 'looking for a good home!' basicly, this all comes down to a tribe. your tribe is basicly your family and your 'cousins' and as Satash said, this would spam the chat with "looking for a family" just like people already spam "looking for a soulmate". It would also clutter the profiles, true that. This basicly sums up a lot of the comments I read so here ya go! ^_^' sorry~
