I've happened to notice that when a round starts, sometimes after a couple of seconds a new round starts, without the sham going into the hole/all mine being saved

A couple of Helpers were talking about the same thing in the chat group on Skype

The admins are aware of the problem.

As far as I've heard so far maps are randomly skipped and sometimes the entire room is reset (meaning everyone goes back to 0 shaman points). This is a server issue and as such there is nothing you can do as a player to fix it. This is happening in every room in every community.

Obviously it's very unfortunate that this is happening and I'm sorry if you have the bad luck of losing your shaman turn over it. There's nothing moderators or players can do about this other than waiting for a fix.

It also happened to Shamans. When it was my turn, I tried to help mice by conjuring to the cheese, but then they wasn't following me and the conjured lines were maintained and then they said I was invisible. Suddently, the map skipped. As Lemodile said, I did lost my turn as a Shaman and lost saves because of that. Hope the Atelier801 fix it soon :(
