We can ignore a certain username, but why not IP of someone?

Summary of a story happened to me:
So I was playing survivor ... me and my friend hated each other and we wanted to remove each other. he started to annoy me. I firstly ignore'd him, then he started creating much accounts to spam and talk to me..
this story might be not good reason for this thread, but still it's an idea.

Surprised this isn't a thing already.

/HalfSupport The only thing I would change from your idea is to have the ip of the player ignored from the command /ignore and not creating a new command to ignore the ip address.

It would be sort of annoying if they had a sibling you enjoyed talking to and they shared a computer or something.

But isnt it that Mods wont/cant do anything if it’s whispers, since it could be false?

What is a brother or sister ignored someone and that someone by chance happend to be your friend?

If you ignore someone and they 'evade' ignore with other accounts etc.. Just report it to a mod as Haru suggested.
They'll eventually get tired of it anyways.

Maybe some mods will say that but ignoring someone takes seconds, making a new account actually takes a bit of time, eventually they will get tired and stop.

So that pretty much means it's bannable, no use for IP ignore then..

When I was being harassed via whisper, by a user on multiple accounts; I was able to take the case to moderation and they handled it for me.
