With the 1.183 update, the game got a minor interface update, including a Cafe (mini flash forum)

What are your thoughts about it? Do you think it should be developed more in a main flash forum?

Personally I think a single thread should be made where everyone can post because there's always a better forum to talk about different things.

Otherwise, I love the interface update \o/ Really happy that everything's organised now, and I hope there will be updates of this kind in the near future.

So what's up with it? Seems like not fully translated from France, also there could be a lot of problems with this.. any info about the update of 1.183 because I can't see on the announcements

It seems pointless since we have a forum, but I guess people who don't use forum might think this is better for them, as it's in-game random chat.

Is there a problem with the avatars?
And really how are the mods going to moderate the Cafe? There's an absurd amount of content that is against the rules of the game, and not only on the EN community

I have to agree with you, Maxkkk. The amount of content that is inappropriate for some age groups is just overwhelming! There should really be a filter put in place to avoid these sort of contents being posted!

No joke Maxkkk.. I made a public chat threat in my community, and seems it calmed down the amount of spam threads, but there's a lot of topics that are just spam heaven. So questions stand:

1) Do threads get deleted if the user logs out
2) Who is gonna moderate it all?
3) If threads aren't deleted when user logs out. Then when they are deleted?

this new update just sucks. theres no moderators no nothing, trolls will infect it soon.

Seems very pointless, probably an effort by Tig to not waste the work done on the flash forums which were replaced.
Except the cafe is even worse than the flash forums, very lacking in features and I mean we already have one official forum to use, we don't need an extra one.

I think the Cafe should just be turned into a chat room of some sort where there are official rooms made by Staff.

For example there is a Free Chat thread, basically just random chatting. Of course it would be separated by server so EN has one, and BR has one. Basically they take the forums' subforums and turn them into chat rooms, because not all players use these forums. Thus bringing me to moderation, like these forums, Sentinels, Moderators and Admins can moderate the chat if necessary. It's a large chat with people across the server rather than one group or room.

But then again this would drive the /chat feature off a bit, though I only see it being used for private chat or chat among one's country. /chat is used for events too when they arrive. Overall after looking at my idea, it just looks like another version of /chat.

The buttons really don't fit into the game at all, and I really don't like this update. I get that it's a chat room, but really people are creating spam threads and it's very unorganized. I think it should be able to be accessed off the old menu, as I really don't like these buttons and I personally would rather not see them. If the chat didn't give the ability to create threads and was only a single chat thread, separated into communities, I feel that would work better. But only if they were actually moderated. I think the problem really is that not all players use these forums, like Jjaakkee said. It seems as if instead of having an actual conversation, people are just spamming. Maybe there could be some rules or guidelines, or at least the smallest bit of moderation.

But yeah, those buttons... I really don't like them. That's my only major problem. They don't fit with the game, and we're constantly reminded that there is a mini forum where people are just spamming away. I want the old buttons back, as this would have easily fit under the menu. Out of sight out of mind?
