Edit: I kinda might have not explained myself very well :p
It's not just for friends that you delete, but I was struggling with that a lot, which is why I came up with this idea. Hiding your online status wouldn't only be useful in that situation, which, yes, you can just ignore them. A lot of people sometimes don't want to log on and be bombarded by a bunch of people or some may be harassed by other players or whaaateeverrr x3
A lot of other websites have this option, so why not this one?
I guess a more appropriate title would just be "Hide Online Status"
You could become invisible to certain people or your tribe or your friends list and stuff like that. c:

but the point of hiding your online status is so that you can kick them to the curb without hurting their feelings and you wouldn't have to quit whispering people altogether.

But if this feature existed then they would know that you were hiding from them or something.
It's no different from "ignore"

Or you could be a man and tell the truth, instead of just avoiding it..
But thats that a suggestion.

I personally would /support this..
I like the idea of certain people not knowing when you're online.
I've had experiences before where people will find me simply because they know I'm online, and they will come to the room to harass me.
I get that there is /silence and /ignore, and you could move rooms to get away from them, but why go through the trouble when they don't have to know you're online in the first place?
If it's a one time, worry free type of thing where you block them from knowing your online status, then what harm is done, really? They whisper you, it tells them you are offline. They look up your profile, it doesn't show up, as if you were offline. They add you to their friendlist, you show up as offline. Instead of going through all the commands, why not just one collective command that sort of blocks the person out completely?
Edit: Assuming this is a collective command and not just for friends you have deleted in the past.

No, it's not just for them. I just kinda thought it would be used a lot in that specific scenario :3 I guess I shouldn't have added that part in, because it's different from /ignore and all of those neato commands. If you want to play the game but you may want to be left alone, you can play in privacy. :D
