So after staying a while in a survivor room I noticed some people talking about the new cannon and its customizations. Turns out that there are many shamans who are starting to make their special cannons invisible so you can't see the angles, thus having to survive by luck.
What do you think about this? Does it add extra fun to this game mode, or only makes things worse? Should it be removed?

I warned against this countless times when shaman item customizations was first mentioned. Apparently staff doesn't care if survivor is messed up, because they took no steps to avoid this issue even knowing users would use it this way. I started a suggestion thread in the suggestion forum asking that users be given the option to choose a minimalist mode that makes it so all shaman items appear standard when playing. It's the only fix I can see that might potentially happen since I doubt they will ban customized cannons from survivor and other games that utilize them as a main element.

I fixed the title for you.

Ever since shaman item customisation came around people were expecting this to happen with cannons, and I'm a bit disappointed that it's happened personally, despite not being a survivor player. I hope some kind of fix for this is implemented, it makes the minigame a lot more unfair and unplayable.

I honestly think this should be fixed soon. It's been annoying trying to survive cannons in survivor if I don't know where to jump, or run. Dammit.

If only the customize could be disabled (or something else idk) whenever you enter in a survivor room :p

It is pain to eyes to dodge those goddamn nearly invisible cannons.

I don't play survivor but I don't like the sound of that. Or of invisible cannons in any room, for that matter.

I do see people use customized cannons making them really hard to see, and I don't really think it's fair at all, I have bought the cannon customization, though I have coloured the ball bright yellow/orange and the arrow is black, making it even easier than before to see the direction of the cannons, which I suppose makes it harder for me when I am shaman, but I don't mind. :P
In all honesty I did try the 'invisible coloured cannons' myself in-game and I thought it was funny at first, until experiencing how hard it actually is to see the cannon direction when I was trying to survive, which clearly changed my opinion on the customization. (Which is why I have made them easy to see).
Hopefully there is a change in survivor, making shaman customizations to be disabled, but then again I would be pretty annoyed not being able to see the colours of my shaman objects that I bought with fraises, that cost money (Considering I play survivor A LOT).
So maybe we're just going to have to deal with it, who knows. :/

They should treat shaman customizations the same way they treat outfits. Players should be able to turn off the shaman customizations of other users for themselves, while their settings would have no affect on anyone else.

Ah yes, that would be a great idea. I hope they can see this and change it asap (Hopefully anyway).

how do they make them invisible? it can't be that they match it to the background colour cos doesn't it change each round? or are you talking about making the arrow on it the same colour as the cannon so you can't see the direction before it starts moving?

either way i don't see this as a problem. if someone has paid for a privilege through fraises or cheese they should be allowed to use it in whatever creative ways they think of so long as not breaking the rules

also, yes, i support the being able to toggle off any shaman customs liek outfits

Yeah, they change the ball and arrow colour to the default background colour, it's not completely invisible, though it is hard to see the direction of which they're shooting the cannon.
Either way I agree as I have bought the customization myself with fraises and I don't want them to take out the customized items altogether in survivor, so I agree that their should be at least a toggle.

i don't see the problem, as even if they are invisible when summoned, while summoning you can see which direction it's going to be summoned, it's very hard to make them compleetly invisible.

though personaly i don't think any skills or customizations should be allowed in survivor. i think the skills kinda ruined it.

I don't find them all that annoying, but an option to turn them on and off would be helpful.

I believe there's meant to be an outline added to the arrow soon, so it can't blend in with the rest of the cannon.
