While playing you can always see stuff that doesn't belong to this game, and there are many kids who play this, and can read what is written. so just make kids do not see the chat.

I think that we should be able to turn the chat on and off.
That way kids could decide.

I know that this game was intended for 13+ but we have to face the facts that younger kids aren't going to go away.

Sometimes the chat can get out of hand, and you don't want to ignore everyone in the room because there are like 50 mice. I wouldn't mind the idea, even if I am not a kid. You have my support.

If this will ever happen, then a safe chat feature should be implemented. There's no reason to go to extremes with chat.

By tapping on the dropdown, you can select categories and say phrases like "Summon the big plank!" or "May I join your tribe?"

Also, mods and admins should be able to have messages that can be seen by players unable to see or say messages.

I'd totally want to turn off the chat. Sometimes I don't want to speak to anyone.

Though, I wonder how something like that would go because some people in the general chat try to talk to you because you're in the room, but you have the chat turned off...?
Maybe your name could be turned a certain color to indicate that.

Just because you wouldn't like a safe chat doesn't mean others won't; and also too it'd still have chat open for other people who don't wanna see it. Both sides of the coin are fine, and there's no need to whine and gripe and be petty.

I believe the game dynamics would not be the same if there was no chat. Interaction with other mice is what makes this game so interesting. Without that, this game would be no different than the average flash game.

the only reason i bother logging on is to talk w/ my friends lmao
and because helper but yeah, even then, i usually just hide in a room and talk with people

i'm not exactly considered a "kid" anymore, but i would love to turn the chat on and off
sometimes people talk about things that i'm not comfortable with, instead of telling them or ignoring everybody, it'd be easier to turn the chat off

Kind of already did that many times. For some reason, there's so much haters that hate me in every room....

Anyways, An ignore all button would be good. When you leave the room, whoever you ignored will be un-ignored, except for the players that were already on your ignore list. Sounds confusing.

Anyways, for the no chat thing, I find it would kind of cool to turn the chat on and off, because the people always bully me or something. So then I could turn the chat off. And if they talk to me, well, they'll be talking to the wall!
