Tribe: Block Players |

I thought maybe there should be added a new “Privilege” (Play Music, /np @code, those Tribe rank privileges). What it would do is simple, it would block a certain player from outside the Tribe to join or to be /inved. For some tribes it might be useful since they might have a “Blacklist”, and those in it get invited again and again into the tribe. For others it would be to repel some “thieves” from taking the Tribe Map. I think if it were to be a command it would be /invban [Username] or something like that...(?) There would be a button on the Tribe Menu which would show you those banned from access to the tribe, and only those with the privilege to kick have the privilege to bring them back. There would be an X beside their names and clicking it would un-kick them, so they would be able to be invited to the tribe. Those who got kicked from a certain Tribe will get a small notification saying something along the lines of “You have been Banned from the Tribe [Tribe Name].” Or something like that. When they get un-kicked they will recieve something like ”You have ben Unbanned from the Tribe [Tribe Name]." If someone tries to invite into the Tribe someone that is in the Blacklist, and that person is banned, they(Who is trying to invite) would recieve a message saying something along the lines of ”This Player Is In The Tribe’s Blacklist." /Support /Half Support /No Support Dernière modification le 1412897940000 |

Well, will it stay permanent? Maybe add a time limit of when the player is banned? So I don't know about supporting. |

angelrange a dit : No, there isnt a time limit. The person who banned them or anyone else with the privilege can unban the player, but if they arent unbanned from the tribe, then they cant enter it. |

I'm not sure about the notification thing. I feel like users might get mad at the tribe for banning them, but it is already similar to the tribe kick option, so /halfsupport??? |

wolfythecat a dit : About the tribe kick, still they’d rejoin over and over until you found whoever was reinviting them. Sure they might get mad at a tribe for banning them but.. surely they deserve to know? |

wolfythecat a dit : But it keeps them from being brought back. Example: Say Gurlgurlfriend was friends with say, Girlgirlgirl from a tribe's blacklist, and Gurlgurlfriend entered the tribe. Gurlgurlfriend may think "Oh, I should invite Girlgirlgirl into the tribe!" so Girlgirlgirl gets into the tribe. And Girlgirlgirl ends up causing trouble and BOTH people are kicked. Then Girlgirlgirl says "You've helped me, hehehe! Now I can hack that tribe! AND YOU! Thanks! Hehehehe!" However, if the option was available... Gurlgurlfriend thinks "Oh, I should invite Girlgirlgirl into the tribe!" so she gives the invitation, but after she tries to give it, she recieves a message: "This person is blocked from the tribe, she/he may not be permitted into the tribe." then Gurlgurlfriend thinks "Oh, I guess I can't invite Gurlgurlfriend. Hmm, my tribe must have a good reason to block Girlgirlgirl, I'll block her." which prevents the tribe and Gurlgurlfriend from being hacked. Notes: I made up the charectors, as you can see. So don't worry about the imaginary Girlgirlgirl hacking you or your tribe. I'm pretending that the tribe leader wasn't secure enough and her/his tribe message contained his/her password. I know you can't truly be hacked. So Girlgirlgirl couldn't find his/her password until she/he was invited into the tribe. So, it's not that simular to the kick option, because the kick option doesn't keep a player from entering a tribe, it just takes them out. |

Lilytenten a dit : griffincraft a dit : I was thinking about something similar to this: Mouse1 joins a tribe. Later on Mouse1 gets banned from the tribe, and starts insulting multiple members of the tribe through whispers. You could ignore them, but they can make multiple accounts to avoid you blocking them. If you use /report to report them, it's only one person reporting, and I don't think the mods would pay much attention if it's only one person. |

Sounds like a good idea. Paired up with the know who invited who in that other suggestion that would be a great match. |

/Support I really need this in my tribe. I have a list of banned members in the tribe forum and there are a total of 10 people on it. This would be really helpful to make sure that they do not sneak back in the tribe. |

/take all my support YES PLEASE, some tribes desperately need this, whether it's by accident or on purpose some mice end up inviting kicked members back into the tribe, there needs to be some way of preventing this as re-inviting blacklisted members can cause serious problems within the tribe. Also, the ability to show who invited who. Dernière modification le 1417573200000 |
