There are those times where a shaman's skills just get in the way, for instance:

○ When ducking for too long with the Rocket Scientist skill.
○ When moving a lot and accidentally moving forward with Projection, potentially killing some shamans.
○ When playing a map that requires moving around fast with a more "slippery" ground, and Cleats halting the shaman.

Or some people may just want to challenge themselves by not having any skills, just like when they joined the game.

You can disable your shaman skills.

A shaman who wants to disable their skills could do so by clicking the menu, skills, and pressing a button above "Close" and "Redistribute" called "Disable Skills." If the user was shamming at the time, it would not change. However, skills would be disabled for every new round you would be shaman. To enable skills, you would go back to the skill tree and click the button that now says, "Enable Skills," returning the skills the next time you're shaman.

[See image below]

We have Redistribute; what's the point?

While "Redistribute" will permanently remove the skills you don't want until being repurchased, it's not the same. The "Disable Skills" option would disable every skill you have, but it would not remove the ones you don't want. If you wanted to rid yourself of a bad skill while still having other skills, "Redistribute" would still be necessary.

Here is an image of what it may look like if implemented into the game:

Click "Disable Skills" to get a picture of the "Enable Skills" button.

That's all. Hope you like the idea!

I'm almost certain I saw this suggestion before.. But,

Either way I'd really like to have this. Every once in a while I get bored of having skills, because they make everything easy. So I have to redistribute to remove them and challenge myself a bit more. The problem with that is that I have to pay 100 cheese every time I do it, so I have to be careful with how and when I choose to do it and I can't do it as often as I'd like to. It would make things so much less of a hassle if we had a disable/enable function.

So, I /support.

I checked the list of suggestions and most recent threads and couldn't find anything, but there probably has been a thread for this before, though it's probably dead.

Yes, that's probably the case. ^^ Still a good suggestion though.

I don't support this. I think it makes things a little too easier and also takes away the fun/challenge out of distributing your points correctly. There is skill in selecting your skills and if some mice don't have it... they should have to pay the extra cheese to redistribute all the points to fix it.. they shouldn't be able to just "disable" bubbles (or any other skill that may effect totems and builds poorly) because they weren't the brightest crayon in the box. It's unfair for the ones who were smart enough to distribute their points correctly...

I agree with Spookshow, I think there's already a way to implement what you're getting at, and it is to pay cheese to reset them. If you wanted to just play without skills, even at high levels, just reset them and don't redistribute them-- you HAVE the cheese for it, you're a high level! I get that its a pain but the solution is already built in.

There are pros and cons of using any of the skills. I would think people who select bubbles are trolls (lets be honest), users who choose cleats need a little extra help wall-jumping, people with Projection have relatively calm fingers and won't double-tap when it will kill them (although yeah, I've seen it happen ALL the time) BUT its quicker than the personal teleport.

Natural progression if this were implemented:
I think people would want to be able to disable specific paths instead (Only apply it to the Wind Master Skills, Only Spiritual Guide Skills, Only Mech Skills). I feel like the solution to that is to simply redistribute into only those paths. I realize this may not have been in your original idea, but its unclear, and I feel this is a natural progression. If people could disable all their skills, what is to stop them from wanting to only disable a specific tree but keep the others in play? (bypassing the payment system again)

Unless there's a fee attached, like 50% of the cost to redistribute with no fee to re-enable. And the time limit placed on re-distributing would stay.

Okay, just wondering:

Are you saying this is unclear, or that what you're hinting at is unclear?
