Perhaps it's just me, but I can find it a little annoying when you get disconnected from the game while you're chatting to someone, and you end up losing your chat log, which may have some important information in you may need to keep or copy somewhere else, or simply want to continue the conversation somewhere else.

When you're disconnected and in the map editor you get to keep the XML you're currently working on. Simply put, I'd like the same thing for the chat.

Obviously you wouldn't be able to continue using the chat after you're disconnected, perhaps the input box shouldn't be there at all too.

I'd love to see that being added to the game *-* It'd surely be useful as I hate it when I stay afk for a long time and I wouldn't be able to view my chat if I got disconnected.

This would be veryyyy handy, I wish it had happened so many times when I disconnected.

If you've been banned from the game the chat shouldn't still work in my opinion - it's more there for letting you see the last chat messages that were sent.
