I change it and it fits the correct size, it will also change in top right. But when I leave that page and go to the actual forum posts it changes back to my original one. Please help!

Clearing your cache will most likely solve your problem. Alternatively, force-refreshing (CTRL+F5) the forum page and/or any thread in which you previously posted will do the same thing.
