That topic was made in 2013, and is no longer being posted on. I don't know why it was rejected, but it is in the Do Not Suggest List. Dernière modification le 1414253580000 |

Because animations with paw items would be difficult and choppy. |

Items below the neck have long been denied because of the amount of frames it would take to create a nice animation for it. It would take more frames because unlike the mouse head, the other body parts are moving/rotating a lot when playing the game. More frames means there's more data to load which in turn makes for reduced game performance, especially for players with slower computers and internet connections. As such A801 decided to officially reject these ideas. Since then tail items have been introduced, but again, the tail knows only like 2 positions, meaning the above argument still stands. As such, hand items are still rejected. However, I believe that this argument does not apply to this suggestion, because the suggestion comes with an (un)equip toggle hotkey. This means that the item can be unequipped when the mouse is running/jumping/crouching and as such it could mean that the animation problem becomes irrelevant. As for the idea itself, I think it's pretty fun as long as it doesn't give any in game advantages. Item functions should probably be purely cosmetic. Dernière modification le 1414483500000 |
