(i'm going to put beach in front of balls in this post to stop the innuendos before they begin :P )

okay, so last event i was part of (fishing/summer) there was beach balls available to collect that i was told would carry over after the event. so i decided to collect the maximum amount (80). Knowing they are finite i've been using them very sparingly, and only used less than 20 as i know i had 60 something ( i think 62)

since this new event has been put up (Halloween) i've checked my inventory and my beach balls seemed to have dissipated :( the fireworks, puffers and graffiti are still there but the beach balls, the one item i worked the hardest to max out as i didn't care about the others, have gone.

i imagine this is because there are pumpkins in this event which serve the same purpose, and the code's getting confused telling pumpkins from beach balls so it's just wiped my slate clean. although this confuses me as my grafiti is still there when i know there is a grafiti type item in this event. Why has it only happened to the beach balls?

i know deep down i'm never going to get my beach balls back, I just want to express how annoyed i am that they were taken from me with no warning. Had i known they would only last until the next event i wouldn't have used them so sparingly.

anyone else had their beach balls deleted from their inventory? and can anyone explain why this has happened?

There were issues related to the inventory earlier, but I don't think they could have made someone lose some previously earned items (except Halloween candies in some cases), so it's strange. :/

and yes it is a bit ridiculous that i come here to report a bug and am essentially called a liar/told it doesn't happen

Writing about losing my balls seems wrong. But I also lost about 30 of them. I traded all my cards or what that was into balls and now they are gone.

GUYS I GOT MY BALLS BACK, the secret is to trade with somebody, then they reappeared. I immediately spent one

I just lost my tombstones and candy. I tried to do this ^ as well as relogging but it didn't help. Let's hope entering the event maps fixes my candy. I don't really care for tombstones. ^-^

Edit: I just sold some sprays for candy and my tombstones came back but not the candy.
