I would like to know what you guys think of the community during maintenance; if you're right there with them or if you think they're overreacting.

In my opinion I think maintenance is necessary and every site has to do it, but I understand why they get angry.

I think although the site maintenance is necessary, they should give players more of a warning than "the server will shut down in ---- seconds" or whatever it is. That is the part that really gets them mad. Also they should give a guesstimate on the login page of about how long they think it might take so people don't sit there refreshing the page constantly thinking it's gonna help them. BUT, like I said, I think the maintenance is necessary and they just have to shut up and deal if they want the game to work properly.

How is this not enough, though? It warns you 2 minutes before it goes on maintenance and it also sends plenty more warnings during the countdown.

Personally when there's a maintenance, I'm just like "oh, okay then" and I let my friends know (if any are online) to meet after it's back up again. It's not a big deal.

What's "the community"? I've never seen a single person get angry over maintenance. Probably because people are reasonable and know that it's necessary. I've seen plenty of people say some variation of "oh no," but who rages?? If tfm didn't have maintenance, we wouldn't have tfm.

In my opinion too often it happens.
People come to the game to play for a long time, and suddenly: for several seconds will reset for several minutes.

I'm wondering what Cvaniak means by "too often it happens." Are you talking about maintenance happening too frequently, or people overreacting about it? Maintenance isn't a particularly frequent occurrence.
