So my friend has this person on ignore (not mentioning name) and she is still seeing their posts on the cafe.

Why do we even see their posts on the cafe? They are on our Ignore Lists/blacklists.

Should we see ignored people's posts on the cafe or not?

I see no point in this.They wouldn't be affecting you unless you comment on the topic.You can just ignore their message and move to a different topic.

You do realise people use the ignore list to ignore toxic people right? And happening to see a post by one of those toxic people only negates that use, right?

It seems that this suggestion and the one Musicaholic are different in the sense that this thread wants to simply use the already existing ignore list to also apply to the café, whereas the other one wants to have separate lists.

I'm not sure which one I prefer, but they definitely are different solutions to a very real problem which I very much support solving.

Actually I intended to make my suggestion generalized, as in, simply the ability to ignore people in the cafe. I guess I worded myself in a way that makes it seem like I specifically suggested a separate ignore list for the cafe, but that's not really what I had in mind; I just wanted to suggest the ability to do that, and the way of doing it would've been up to the admins. I should have said "Ability" in stead of "Option," haha. My bad.
