Probably was because your thread didn't have proper comments.
When I say that I mean that they were going off-topic or so, which is why it got closed.

My opinion, because that's what usually happens to threads going off-topic.

If there's nothing to actually discuss, it'll be locked. Your thread ("What If You Could Be a Baby Mouse? Would you?") basically just asks a yes/no question. If you were allowed to make, and keep, those threads open, there would be a bunch of pointless threads among the threads that actually have something to discuss.
