i have 3 titles with a star next to it, but when i put it on the star isnt there, only in the list of titles i have.
also i put a different color on my mouse, but it wont show up in the box above the shaman list.
its not a big deal though.

The stars are only supposed show during your shaman turn.

In regards to the colour; have you saved any outfits with your shaman colour?

So I think what you're saying is that when you change your fur/color in the shop and close the shop, the picture of your mouse next to the menu bar is the old color.

Relog and it should be changed.
