Fanart Subforum

Lately I've noticed this subforum going downhill. About half a year ago, the fanarts subforum was a passionate group of artists who offered advice and great drawings. Now it seems to be afk.
I want to help motivate people to come back (maybe every once in a while) and get this subforum back to it's former glory. I've listed some ideas but you can tell me if you have any more!

Please choose as many ideas as you want that you think will benefit this subforum.

Please tell me if this isn't allowed and I will remove.

We can have more events! (Ex: christmas art event, halloween art event, etc)

We can have more art contests with prizes!

We can make more game art threads like "draw the mouse above you"

We can have more threads!

We can go dig up and revive old time classic threads

I would love more art games~!

We could start thinking of some haha

I was thinking of one that we could start a drawing and the person under has to add on to it.

I agree. The art subfourm is just a mere shadow of what it used to be.

to be honest, i think that some threads (like mine) got left behind is because the off-topic subforum appeared.
95% of my art posted on my tfm art thread was off-topic.

To be completely honest here, I think the new forum has really changed the fanarts subforum a lot.

I think it was better when there weren't individual pages for every single thing, and I also know that many people (including myself!) would click on threads when we saw the post count change and turn yellow. That doesn't happen anymore, since refreshing is required.

For me, this subforum died right after the flash forums were gone.

At first i thought the new forums were a great idea, but now not so much. The forums as a whole dont seem to be active that much compared to the old ones.
but i would love more games and events, it would be pretty cool!

someone should totally make a parody of current TFM and call it Nostalgic TFM
it'll have all the old things that tfm used to have

Voted for the last option.
I agree with everyone else, but there's no going back. No use crying over spilled milk, right? Let's try to make something with what we have.
The community has lessened and even I'm not interested in these forums anymore. That says a lot.

I could get back into drawing and have a thread. Maybe revive my old ones too.

I'd like a much more organized art conversation thread. Where it has a monthly plot or setting and doesn't suddenly go about boring art topics like cookies.
When I had an au idea for that thread it was very lively. If you weren't there for it, I'll link it late tomorrow.
I'd like to organize a much more neater art thread with a plot.
Anyone on board with this idea? It would be fun.
