Hello everyone!

I'm here to suggest a fantastic thing to the launch of the game on Steam, which gives the users the opportunity to create their own stuff, and, according to the approvation of the users, the Administrators will be able to insert into the game those ideas and items, just like, clothes, mouth objects, ear objects, tail objects, and... just to don't forget it... HAAATS! ^_^

But.. What is STEAM Workshop?

Steam a dit :
The Steam Workshop is a central hub of player-created content and tools to publish, organize, and download that content into your games. Different games will utilize the Workshop in different ways. Some games, like Team Fortress 2, allow you to create and submit new items (such as hats, weapons, badges, boots, and more) for consideration to be incorporated into the actual game. Other games like Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allow mod authors to publish their work directly to the Workshop, and let players subscribe to mods they want to use in their game.

The acceptable items, entry rules, and rewards may be different for each product, so please read the instructions carefully to see where your skills and interests can have the most impact.

What do you think about this? Is it a good idea or not so far? Discuss, dispose and propose! ;)

Kikarz a dit :
HAAATS

Inb4 every tf2 hat gets added to tfm
head warmer would look good on my pyro and mouse

In all seriousness, it may be hard to implement and monitor because there'd be a lot of designs. I'd personally love to make sham item designs, and I'm sure there'd be plenty of others willing to create items for the game. I wouldn't mind a user-based item voting system to decide on items.

While it would be cool to support the community in creating items for the game, comparing TFM to TF2 or Skyrim is a bit of a stretch. TF2's advanced integration with Steam is in large part due to the fact that both are owned by Valve. It may not be realistic to want to achieve this for a flash game.

and your cases that's a lot more simple people vote on the art assets they want to see in the game made by other players but still at the end you have the choice to do it or not your policy of not changing the legs make this extremely easy for you does most of the parts of mice do not move
valve doesn't even implement everything right away people vote to be put in to tf2 you could do the same thing for Transformice when you have a time to implement something people vote on for the game put it in you should make a tutorial on how you make your mice if you go this route and you make this guide it will cut your work down a lot as people make everything you need for you to implement

Lemodile, sorry for the delay but:
- This can be a flash game, but it is still a game. Team Fotress 2 isn't unique as that idea is used by the recent games and the developers like the Steam Workshop to get some ideas from the users.
- Transformice can get a big amount of players if it gets deeper on Steam functionalities, so the support for Steam players could raise.

That is just taking some attention to Steam players, as me.
